Oszvald Nándor is a Hungarian jeweler that turns precious metals into custom designs. Nándor has created everything from Harley-Davidson motorcycles to boats such as the Mayflower. In this case, to commemorate Mercedes-Benz 125th year, he created this wonderful replica of a 540k throughout two years of painstaking work. The original 540K was introduced at the 1936 Paris Motor Show and was designed by Friedrich Geiger. Originally available as a two-seater cabriolet, there was also a four-seater coupe and even a seven-seater limousine, which was one of the largest cars of its time. Nándor’s much smaller model is made of Sterling Silver with enamel and weights 9,010 grams with and has a length of 21cm and width of 8cm.
