The collaboration between Bentley and Art and Fragrance, the owner of Lalique saw the bringing together of the world-renowned brands of the French crystal maker Lalique and the iconic British car company. The two jointly produced the new Bentley fragrance collection.
Bentley and Lalique have a lot in common. The two companies were founded almost a century ago, and they share the same history and successes. These brands are known for tradition- passing on of skills and expertise from generation to generation, luxury, lifestyle and innovation. Bentley being one of the largest Research and Development investor in the United Kingdom’s automotive sector, it is an example high-value manufacturing. Bentley employs 4,000 people in Crewe, home of Bentley’s operations including designing. Like all other collaborations, the duo enjoy the successes of coming together to form a formidable team. Mercedes Benz recently collaborated with Cigarette to produce the finest work of marine art the Huntress, deriving its design cues from the powerful AMG G63 SUV offroader. Bentley and Lalique have joined heads and hands to produce the best but finest work of art and fashion- the new Bentley Luxury Fragrance Collection.
In the year 2012, Bentley’s global sales were up by 22% with 8 510 cars delivered to customers world wide- which happens to be a fair share of the global automotive market. America still remains the largest Bentley global region with 2457 sales. The unique success and collaboration brings about unique art work reflecting the dynamism of Bentley design. Lalique has successfully created the first limited edition crystal flacon for Bentley- a fragrance collection line of luxury scents for men. “The collaboration has allowed the transposition of Bentley brand core attributes into the luxury fragrance” said Lindsay Weaver, Director of licensing at Bentley Motors. Echoing the same sentiment Silvio Denz, CEO of Lalique said that creating the fragrance together as a team captures the essence of skills and vision in a bottle.
The legendary “Flying B” Bentley mascot is also used on the Lalique for Bentley Crystal Edition’s impressive flacon. The Lalique for Bentley Crystal Edition showcases the finest glassmaking expertise and is limited to only 999 pieces! Available at a number of carefully selected retailers this April 2013. Wondering what’s so special about the fragrance line? The Bentley for Men and the high- impact Bentley for Men Intense fragrances are created by a top French perfumer Nathalie Larson from Firmewich. The finest perfume raw ingredients were used including those must-haves for Bentley’s debut fragrance, fine wood and leather notes. The Intense version takes the notes to another level by infusing the rich scent with aromatic African granium.
The Crystal Edition is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, reflecting the unrivaled luxury and Elegant values of both Bentley and Lalique. Captivating Bentley fragrances will be available at selected perfumeries and department stores from April 2013.
